The Duomo at Amalfi Town
The Duomo of Amalfi was built in the 13th Century. It incorporated the earlier structure of the 9th century. This cathedral is one of the oldest in Campania. St. Andrew, apostle and fisherman is Amalfi’s patron saint. In the 13th century his remains were taken from Constantinople and brought to this duomo’s crypt, where they still remain today. The cathedral, which is both historic and holy, has a beautiful, Moorish-style medieval Cloister.
Beautiful gardens like Villa Cimbrone, Ravello
Flowers are everywhere, as if Amalfi Coast wasn’t enough paradise. Ravello is home to the Villa Rufolo, and the Villa Cimbrone. Both gardens offer stunning views of the sea and beautiful flowers.
Fresh fish and seafood
