You may already be planning your next year’s shopping trips to Italy. I am aware of this as a few people have contacted me to inquire when the summer and winter sale dates will be posted.

July 2016 Update This is the site I use to track sale dates. Check out this page for more information about each region and individual cities (if there are any). It’s in Italian so you need to be familiar with the names of cities and regions.

Here is the overview of regional sales dates that I posted while waiting for the other site update.

ControCampus compiled this list in Italian. I have translated it. These dates can be changed, but they should give you an idea of when to plan your shopping trips in Italy in 2016.

Abruzzo

* Abruzzo Summer Sales: Starts on 7 July and ends on 3 September

Basilicata

Florence is located in Tuscany so it will be covered under that region. There are many sales dates for cities, but I have not yet found an official listing. So, use the above listing to get an idea of the general structure.

Yes, Georgia! That’s a very popular question right now. Unfortunately, the site that many of us use to find sales dates has not updated its information for summer 2016. This is the most accurate list I found online.

      Although the 2016 winter dates are available, it seems that they have changed the 2015 summer heading. The dates for each row still state 2015.

Michelle, thank you for your note! This is the best information that I could find on ControCampus. It was the only place that provided updated sales information. My favorite website is still not updated for summer, despite the fact that it’s summer! For shopping-related trips, I recommend you contact the Milan tourism office to obtain the most exact dates. The dates for each city may be slightly different from those of the region.
