It is one of the most significant outdoor events in Sicily. This event attracts many climbing enthusiasts from around the globe. Each year, athletes, the public, and internationally renowned specialists all gather at this event.

In 2009, San Vito Lo Capo was a relatively unknown climbing festival. Massimo Cappuccio was the first to suggest the festival, and Peppe Gallo brought Daniele Arena along. They were able to share their passion with a wide audience.

It was evident from the very beginning that this festival was an important event for the outdoor community. The next edition exceeded all expectations.

Apart from important sponsors and international celebrities, hundreds of climbers travel from around the world to climb on San Vito’s rock.

This is not only one of the most famous guests, but there are many highly respected directors of outdoor and freestyle movies.

Today, San Vito Lo Capo remains one of the most loved climbing spots in the Mediterranean. San Vito Lo Capo boasts over 1,000 routes that are bolted to the excellent rock. This festival is open all year.

It is home to many different types of climbing and trad routes, in some of the most picturesque settings in Sicily.
