We all know Rome is known for its iconic landmarks. Some parts of Rome, from the Colosseum to the Vatican, are easily identifiable in a nanosecond. While many visitors will prioritize these areas of the city, others may prefer to explore its picturesque local neighborhoods.

Some believe that a city’s essence is deeply rooted in its past, while others see it in its everyday culture. Others wander its residential areas, take in the local scene and soak up the atmosphere.

What are the most beautiful neighborhoods in Rome?
